Warm grays and milky blues add comfort to this living room in our Holloway community.

Pantone Rose Quartz and Serenity: For the first time, instead of picking one color, Pantone released two colors as their 2016 Colors of the Year! In their words, “The combination of Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.”

Off-White: This color instantly adds a timeless touch to any room in the home. White is also soft and neutral enough to be used generously in a space, rather than as a small accent only. The industrial-style is trending this year, and many home décor experts say that combining off-white with basic natural elements, metals and clean tones, will make your room pop.

Warm Grays and Milky Blues: These colors, especially when combined together, add comfort to your space and would be great for a living room or bedroom. A warm gray wall is also a good alternative to pure white, which can sometimes feel too sterile.

Winter Colors: Deep purples, frosty grays, and rose colors make a room feel modern, yet feminine. Don’t be afraid of these darker colors. They add a dramatic flair to any formal room.

This year looks to be a year that’s all about taking risks in colors and designs. We love the creativity of our communities and look forward to seeing what beautiful décor and colors our homeowners have in store for their spaces!
