Top 4 Reasons to Love Richmond

Top 4 Reasons to Love Richmond

We truly love creating places of great distinction in Richmond. The city has so much to offer and here are some of our favorite reasons why HHHunt Communities and our homeowners love RVA:

  1. The Centralized Location: Richmond is in the center of it all! Not many can say that they’re only an hour and a half west of the beach and an hour east of the mountains. Richmonders can even spend the day in Washington, D.C., which is only a short drive. With its central location in Virginia, Richmond experiences all four seasons and enjoys stunning natural surroundings.
  1. The Amazingly Delicious Food: One thing that Richmond is known for is the local and fresh food across the region, including in The Fan, Carytown, Shockoe Bottom, the West End and more. We bring in visitors from near and far just to check out our hot new restaurants and exciting food festivals. Our Charter Colony community hosts food trucks every first Wednesday of the month and is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the amazingly delicious meals we rave about!
  1. Reasons to Love RichmondThe Housing Market: Richmond has been on the national radar lately as one of the best places to live, work and own a home. The Richmond new home industry has made significant strides since 2011 and it continues to gain momentum. Richmond was even named the fourth-hottest housing market in the United States in 2016 by Zillow! With the opening of Wegmans and Stone Brewery, along with having multiple Fortune 500 companies headquartered in Richmond, there are plenty of job opportunities in the area as well. The new home market is looking strong for the rest of 2016.

The Culture and Spirit: Richmonders love Richmond! It’s apparent to any outsider who visits the area. RVA stickers are on everyone’s cars, local festivals have outstanding attendance, and neighbors support their local shops and restaurants down the street. It’s no wonder that the UCI Road World Championships was hosted in Richmond last year (they even stopped by our Rutland community) and that Richmond was named the third best place in the world to travel in 2016 by Travel and Leisure. We’re one big community who loves and supports one another!

We believe it’s how you live that matters, and we love seeing our homeowners creating memories in our communities and around Richmond! We’d love for you to share some of your favorite things about Richmond on our Facebook page and we’ll make sure to share!
