Summer officially begins this week! We can’t believe that school is out for summer break and that warmer weather is finally here. We know that this summer will be the best one yet and we’re looking forward to seeing our homeowners enjoying all of the outstanding outdoor amenities at each of our communities.
It’s hard to imagine summer without a pool. That’s why the pools at Charter Colony, Rutland and White Hall are always bustling with neighbors enjoying a nice cool down from the warm weather. What makes the pools at our communities even more appealing are the incredible array of fun events, such as float nights, late night swims, barbeques, and more!
In Hanover County, our Providence community places a large emphasis on outdoor recreation and entertaining. The community features a number of outdoor spaces, including over two miles of walking trails and sidewalks that wind throughout, affording homeowners the opportunity to both exercise and socialize. A park area, overlooking a water feature with a fountain, offers places for gathering and recreation. The park is also a favorite spot because it has a pavilion with a fire pit, open lawn areas for relaxation or planned activities, and a playground.
Holloway in Henrico County recently completed a one-of-a-kind treehouse with a suspension bridge, climbing wall, tire swing and more! A community garden also is planned for Holloway and soon it will be thriving with delicious herbs for the community to enjoy.
Many of our communities are also located down the street from the local YMCAs. The YMCA offers a ton of great programs for kids, including their fun summer camps! The YMCA is just another added amenity that homeowners love!
