As an employee-centered company, our talented team members are at the heart of what makes HHHunt Communities great. Each team member plays a vital role in creating places so many people call home and we want you to get to know them!
We recently caught up with Jonathan Ridout, Vice President of Land Development, to chat about his role at HHHunt Communities.
Q: You have a very important role at HHHunt Communities as Vice President of Land Development. What does that entail?
Jonathan: A little bit of everything. I work with our team to plan, design and implement our communities. As we often say, we take raw land and turn it into something special. Additionally, I work with our builder partners to ensure we have the best builders and products for each of our communities.
Q: What makes HHHunt Communities stand out from other developers?
Jonathan: Our dedicated to attention to detail, top-notch problem-solving skills, the empowerment of our team members, and our ability to get things done. We also put a strong emphasis on collaboration with the mantra “the best idea wins” as it ensures we listen to everyone’s input and always think creatively. We collaborate closely with our internal HOA team, Genesis Community Management, and our building division, HHHunt Homes.
Q: At HHHunt Communities, we believe it’s how you live that matters. What does this philosophy mean to you?
Jonathan: Exactly that. We are creating communities where people live and make memories that will last a lifetime, so we must do our job and design and build the best communities to allow them to live their best life!
Q: HHHunt Communities has a lot planned for 2019. What are you most excited about?
Jonathan: Everything! We have three new communities in three different counties that are just getting started and each one is different and unique from the rest. Wescott is an urban-living inspired community in Chesterfield County, and Mosaic at Westcreek is our first age-exclusive community! Additionally, we are finally starting to see the fruits of our labor at River Mill in Henrico County where we’re hosting Richmond Homearama and opening our doors to show everyone what we have to offer!
Our team members are committed to improving lives and how people live by building places of great distinction across Virginia. Check out our incredible communities in Richmond and Williamsburg, and stay tuned for additional Q&As with our talented team members!
