HHHunt Communities is committed to the communities where we live and work. We believe it’s important to give back and support the incredible volunteerism and philanthropy of our neighbors. That’s why we’re looking forward to our Rutland community serving as the setting for the ReeseStrong Foundation 5K and Gold Ribbons Kid’s Run again this year! The race takes place at Rutland on Saturday, September 19th, 2015.
If you haven’t done so yet, there’s still time to register on the ReeseStrong website! Our team will be participating in force and we’re excited to see our family, friends, and neighbors join us. This year marks the seventh annual event and it continues to grow every year. The ReeseStrong Family Emergency Fund distributed $37,000 to help families with the unexpected cost of a cancer diagnosis and donated $13,000 to support childhood cancer research last year. Let’s help raise even more awareness and money at this year’s race!
The ReeseStrong Foundation provides financial, emotional and social support for families affected by childhood cancer. The race brings awareness and education to attendees and this year’s beneficiaries are two local children who have recently been diagnosed with cancer.
Participation in the ReeseStrong race is yet another example of our philosophy that it’s how you live that matters. An important component of how you live is what you do for others and we’re proud to support an important charity that helps raise funds in the battle against childhood cancer. We hope to see many people at the race and look forward to running alongside Rutland homeowners and HHHunt team members.
