The holiday season is a magical time of year – especially at HHHunt Communities. Our award-winning community management teams provide homeowners with world-class events, activities and social gatherings that foster new, life-long friendships. Now that the holidays have arrived, we wanted to take a quick look back at all the holiday fun we enjoyed at HHHunt Communities.
Visits from Santa at Rutland and Charter Colony
Guess who came to town? Jolly ole’ St. Nick visited homeowners in Rutland on November 29th and 30th for our annual Cookies with Santa event at the Rutland House. Homeowners’ children got their picture taken with the big guy and dropped off their wish lists in a magical mailbox headed to the North Pole.
Santa also made a stop at Charter Colony on December 10th! He made a grand entrance on an antique fire truck and stopped at 12 different locations throughout the community. All of the homeowners joined in with singing carols and wishing one another a happy holiday season.
Holiday Happy Hours at Wescott, River Mill, and Mosaic at West Creek
Who doesn’t love a holiday-themed happy hour? We know our homeowners do! On December 11th we hosted our Holiday Hang Out at Mill Square Park where homeowners enjoyed beer, wine and hot cocoa while listening to a DJ and enjoying food from Carytown Burgers and Fries.
At Wescott, their holiday happy hour included a guitarist and heavy hors d’oeuvres from Richmond’s famous Mosaic Catering. We also had beer, wine and soda along with cookies from Sugar and Salt bakery. The event was held at the Connexion at Wescott, a beautiful, modern multi-purpose space with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an amazing view of this master-planned community.
Homeowners at Mosaic at West Creek participated in the fun of decorating with our Deck the Halls Meet & Greet Happy Hour on December 3rd. Festive appetizers and beverages were served while homeowners added lights, garlands, bows and wreaths to The Conservatory, Mosaic’s “living room” that features a parterre garden with seating, entry archways and flower gardens.
Family Movie Night and Cookie Decorating Workshop
The holiday season isn’t the same without classic movies and cookies. On December 18th, Charter Colony hosted a family movie night where homeowners watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Frosty the Snowman. During the double-feature, children could also participate in making snow globe crafts.
Our Mosaic at West Creek homeowners grabbed their aprons and learned the basics of sugar cooking decorating, without all the stress! Step-by-step instructions were provided to make the perfect holiday treats for grandchildren.
At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters and for nearly 40 years we have provided homeowners in our master-planned communities with unique and festive opportunities to learn new things and create new relationships. We want to wish you all a very happy holiday season.
