Check out some of our favorite events taking place this August in Richmond and Williamsburg:
- 7th Annual Richmond Jazz Festival at Maymont (August 11-14): Get your groove on at the Richmond Jazz Festival at Maymont this month! This popular festival showcases world-class jazz music from an extensive lineup of talented and famous musicians.
- Carytown Watermelon Festival in Richmond (August 14): Who loves watermelon? Along with all of the watermelon treats, this year’s Watermelon Festival will also feature jugglers, folk acts, and big bands from six outdoor stages.
- Chesterfield County Fair in Richmond (August 26-September 3): The 103rd Chesterfield County Fair is a long-standing tradition in the county. Have a great time enjoying rides, delicious food vendors, contests, pageants, parades and more!
- Great Williamsburg Adventure Race (August 28): During the Great Williamsburg Adventure Race, teams run around Williamsburg decoding puzzles, solving riddles, and completing unique challenges to win prizes and ultimate glory. It’s a fun event to watch!
