Halloween is this weekend and we can’t wait! We believe it’s how you live that matters, and creating fun memories with friends and neighbors is a great way to celebrate the holiday! For those of you still working on getting their home ready for a visit from trick-or-treaters, we’ve got some great ideas for you:

  • DecorationsFor a quick last minute way to decorate your front door, buy orange and yellow helium balloons and draw spooky faces on them! Tie the balloons all around your front porch for a simple yet scary effect. Another idea is to cut holes and shred an old bed sheet and hang it over a doorway for a frightening effect!
  • Food and Drinks: Pour grenadine syrup into a large glass flask or pitcher, then slowly add chilled mango lemonade or orange juice on top. The grenadine and juice will separate to create a cool effect that will make your drink look like candy corn! Another idea is to draw pumpkin faces on clementine’s. They’ll instantly look like tiny pumpkins and they’re a healthy alternative to passing out candy.
  • Costumes: This list of last-minute children’s Halloween costumes from Parenting Magazine has some great ideas. We especially like the meatballs and spaghetti costume!

Of course, the most important tip of all is to have fun and stay safe during Halloween. We hope you have a blast this Halloween around your HHHunt community!
