HHHunt Communities is proud to support the ReeseStrong Foundation and its signature event, the ReeseStrong 5K and Gold Ribbon Kids’ Run. We’re also honored that once again our Rutland community will serve as the setting for this great event. The race takes place at 8:30am at Rutland on Saturday, September 13, 2014.
If you haven’t done so yet, there’s still time to register! Just go online here to sign up: http://www.reesestrong.org/reesestrong-5k. This year marks the sixth annual event and it continues to grow!
The ReeseStrong Foundation was founded in 2009 to help families stay strong in the battle against childhood cancer. It provides financial, emotional, and social support for families affected by cancer. ReeseStrong also strives to raise awareness of childhood cancer by supporting research and displaying the gold ribbon (the symbol for childhood cancer awareness). Beneficiaries of this year’s race are two local children who have been recently diagnosed with leukemia.
We hope to see many people at the race and look forward to running alongside Rutland homeowners and HHHunt team members. This race and the incredible work of the ReeseStrong Foundation certainly reminds us that it’s how you live that matters.
