HHHunt Celebrates Community Spirit and National Night Out
National Night Out

Police dogs were a big hit at Rutland’s National Night Out event!

Among the most important characteristics of HHHunt communities are friendship, fun, and active living. That’s why we love to throw a good party! HHHunt Communities was proud once again to celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5th with fun-filled neighborhood events at Charter Colony in Chesterfield and Rutland in Hanover.

Homeowners at both beautiful master-planned communities, which were recently recognized as Best New Neighborhoods, enjoyed great block parties!

Charter Colony held its fifth annual National Night Out celebration and over 400 community members attended the event. The party included Joey’s Hot Dog Truck, Mister Softee Ice Cream Truck, and a Vendor Booth Fair with 20 organizations and businesses. Members and their families enjoyed live music by DJ Jason Paige, a dunk booth and hula hoop contest, corn hole, a door prize raffle with over 24 awesome prizes, and tons of giveaways! Special visitors stopped by Charter Colony, including McGruff, the Chesterfield County Fire Department and Police Department, and the Sweet Frog mascot. This awesome event was planned by the Charter Colony Neighborhood Watch Program volunteers and Charter Colony Foundation staff.  A special thank you to all volunteers who made the evening so successful!

Our Rutland community also held its annual National Night Out event, which was a huge success! Over 200 community members attended the event, which made it their second largest event of the year.  Homeowners and their families spent time together, entered fantastic raffle prizes, played games on the lawn of the Rutland House, and sampled the delicious offerings from food vendors like Jadean’s Smokin’ Six O, The Dog Wagon, and King of Pops. Plus, 100 community members even got a special frozen treat when they received complimentary popsicles.  The night also included special visits from McGruff and police dogs. We also have to give a shout out to Meg and Ginny for working the Rutland event!

These events highlight the special quality of HHHunt communities and emphasize how lucky we are to have such great homeowners. Thanks to all of our wonderful homeowners for making our communities the best in the area!
