HHHunt Communities’ George Moore accepts the award for Best Mixed Use Community.

HHHunt Communities is proud and excited to announce that Rutland was named the best mixed use community in Richmond by the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Richmond chapter. Rutland was one of the big winners at last night’s ULI Richmond Vision Awards. Facing stiff competition, Rutland was recognized as the region’s best mixed use community for its pedestrian focus, impressive amenities, connections to the area’s history, and mix of single-family homes, townhomes, office space, and retail.

Congratulations to Rutland! We’re honored to be recognized for such a great community. We want to acknowledge the amazing homeowners who live in Rutland and help to make it a very special place. We also are grateful for the dedicated and passionate HHHunt teams members who work so hard to make Rutland a great place to live, work, and play. Thank you all!

The ULI Richmond Vision Awards celebrate and honor companies and organizations in the region that have been instrumental in creating visionary development. Based on the ULI National Awards for Excellence with the objective of recognizing superior development projects, the judging criteria includes factors that go beyond good design to also include leadership, contribution to the community, innovation, public/private partnerships, environmental protection and enhancement, response to societal needs, and financial success. The Judging Panel was comprised of experts from the diverse disciplines related to urban development including finance, land planning, development, public affairs, architecture, engineering, and design.

Congrats again to our Rutland community for this great achievement! It truly is a special place to call home because it’s how you live that matters.
